Switchback brings early rock vibe to 'Ghosts'

Spending some time with Switchback's latest release "Ghosts of the River Folk" I could not shake a sense of déjà vu...Then it hit me that what I was hearing was very similar in tone and delivery to one of my favorite periods in rock history - that innocent period just after the break from traditional folk but just before drugs began to become commonplace. A time when lyrics were cleanly delivered, the melodies were catchy and the message was optimistic. Click to read the entire review.

Check out Banshee Gumbo and Climb that Mountain, two original songs from the Switchback archives. This is Marty and Brian at their best, performing to a sold-out crowd at the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, MI. in the fall of 2006.

Five new videos are posted on YouTube of Marty and Brian's performance of their "Mass of the Living Water" at the Sanctuario di Pompei (Shrine of Pompeii) in Pompeii, Italy. These original tunes were performed at one of the most sacred churches in Italy during Switchback's tour of the Amalfi Coast in February 2010.
